Butchers Of America is an organization founded by butchers to inspire butchers. If you are a Butcher in America then you are part of Butchers Of America. We are dedicated to serving the Butchery Community through networking and training. We hope to inspire a new generation of Butcher by competing in the World Butcher Challenge. Captain of the first American Butcher Team that competed and placed 6th in Belfast, Northern Ireland in 2018.

Determined, experienced and skilled, Danny lead the 2022 Butchers of America, Team USA to a top 10 finish in Sacramento, CA.

Owner of Taylor’s market, Danny graduated from The Oregon Meat Cutting School in 1982, and has since then continued to learn, travel, and polish his skills.

A whole carcass butchery advocate and expert, Danny believes that “A good butcher should know how to feed the animal, eat the animal, and everything that has to be done between those two points."

A California State University Graduate, Paul has been working alongside Danny Johnson's guidance since 1998.

Paul has been teaching butchering classes since 2010 which include hand-on and lecturing classes.

In 2013, Paul was part of the Taylor’s Market team that won the Flying Knives Competition at the Eat Real Festival in Oakland, California.

With long-acquired skills and real-life expertise, Paul’s motivation is fueled by passion, just like how he says it, “Butchering has been my life.”

Nathan has 15 years of experience in the industry. Nathan is the owner of Bingham’s Custom Meats (2011) and Bingham’s Hog Farm in Morgan, UT. He specializes in carcass processing and retail sales. He consults individuals starting or expanding in the industry to help them find success in small business.

One of his favorite things about butchery is the opportunity to constantly grow and learn from others and in turn share that knowledge. He looks forward to the holidays as a time of year that he can help make the centerpiece of each table reflect the quality and passion he has put into his business and career.

Brance Brown graduated from Weber State University in 2014 with a degree in Communication. He has a background in design, art, small business marketing, website design, video and photography. He is a great asset to Butchers of America and has been in the Meat Industry for three years. He resides in Morgan, UT and works at Bingham's Custom Meats.

He strives for constant, consistent improvement.
